VSA DR design paired with a P2000
I'm looking at a schedule remote-copy for DR purposes to a couple of VSA instances hanging off of a couple of P2000 nodes. Each P2000 node has 12x3TB midline SAS drives configured in 4-drive Raid 5 sets currently.
The initial setup I did was having 4x 2TB VMDK's + the 7GB OS volume per LUN within VMware. While this configuration did "work" for testing, I'm wondering if I would be better off carving off an 8TB RDM instead.
