Re: Version 11 SMI-S and SCVMM 2012 R2
Thats a bummer.
Reading the update notes for 11.5 it sounds like it should be fixed. I was going to wait another week before upgrading from 11 to 11.5 so I can't give you any firsthand experiance.
Did you start from scratch adding the clusters to SCVMM or were they already in there from when the cluster(s) were at v11?

Re: Version 11 SMI-S and SCVMM 2012 R2
Yeah I can confirm the same thing with ours upgraded to 11.5
This 'upgrade'does not appear to have done anything new (again)

Re: Version 11 SMI-S and SCVMM 2012 R2
yup :-/
I predict v12's major feature will be a "UI enhancement and overhaul"... aka "we are changing the color of background of the buttons and menu bar from grey to blue"
Its pretty sad, but if you look at the v11 and the v11.5 feature list it looks 99% identical.

Re: Version 11 SMI-S and SCVMM 2012 R2
Yesterday upgraded to version 12.0 and now SMI-S is working at last.
