Virtual Manager violation error
hi - i have just installed HP VSA on 2 ESX servers. I have 2 virtual sans, 1 on each Host and am using the eval licensing which i get for 60 days.
I have set everything up but i am gettin gthe following error mrdssage under the feature registration tab of my storage nodes ... "Not licensed for Multi-node virtualisation and clustering (in violation becuase of virtual manager)" - does anyone know why i have this and how i can fix it ?

Re: Virtual Manager violation error
Chris, The solution is to license the VSAs. However, these functions will continue to work until the eval period expires.

Re: Virtual Manager violation error
Hi Dave - thanks for the info - i did eventually find this info in the HP doc. Whilst on the topic of managers, i have 2 VSA storage nodes (1 on each physical server) with DAS on each server. I have created a volume using both servers and want to be able to utilise HA functionality so that of 1 server dies the other one takes over. Do i need a failover manager for this type of setup ? And if so where can i download it from? tks
