add a new disk to the existing RAID5 lefthand storage
We have very old lefthand storage model NSM160, which is way out of support. One of the disks failed. After rebuilding the disk, I was trying to reconfigure RAID to add the new one in by clicking RAID setup tasks at the CMC console but I kept getting unable to configure raid becuase of no connection. However I can ping the storage with no problem. I can never pass the step 5 as below. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!!
What did I miss?
Here are the steps I took:
- Stop Manager
- Remove it from Primary_cluster
- Wait for restriping done
- Remove it from Management group
- Do reconfigure RAID5

Try rebooting the node and reconfigure raid again
