Re: boot from iscsi ( left hand networks virtual SAN appliance)

How did you configure the Server access to the boot volume (xen-host2) on the P4000?
Is this the first / only server with iSCSI boot for now?

Re: boot from iscsi ( left hand networks virtual SAN appliance)

Hello,

Yes it is. I created volume on the VSA and assigned a server to it using the iqn that the NIC card gave me on the settings page. it has read/writte with no CHAP (tried with chap)

on the card itself, after control + K i configure the IP and on the first target assigned the settings of the p4000 (volume created for it). tried changing settings one a a time but no matter what i, get a soft/ward error on the target
