minimum spcace needed to create a snapshot

I am trying to create a primary snapshot of one of the node Volume (1 TB) , but I recieved an error that I dont have sufficient disk space even that I have 600 GB of non allocated space on the storage , so I want to know the minimum spcace needed to create a snapshot . thanks in advance

the volume you are trying to snap is full or thin provisioned?

What is the network RAID level?

The first snap is going to be the size of the orgnial volume and will be thin provisioned.

if want attach the mgrclientbinmon.log and Ill have a look at it to see what is going on.

Just click on the node, run diags then goto the logs and save that log and attach here.

Thank you, the Network Raid Level is 1 and the Volume is full provisoned (92 % reserved), but When I change it to thin I created successfully the snapshot . can you explain please

I need to see the mgrclientbinmon.log but probably its because you are using less space then you think.

you can look at that log yourself and search for the volume name..
