Re: monitoring hardware with snmp (p4500)
For LH specific oids you can check HP document - http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01750818.pdf
But keep in mind - table at the end of document is not correct, always check MIB file for correct values.

Re: monitoring hardware with snmp (p4500)
When I scan the device, I cannot see any oid's for the lefthand part, its like, it is not there.
Now I read somewhere that I have to add the mib's to a specific folder on the root of the p4500.
the only problem is, that I have no idea how to do this,
can I log into it with scp as root or???
With friendly Greets

Re: monitoring hardware with snmp (p4500)
Do not have to configure anything on the nodes themselves, except in the CMC you have to turn on a community string, etc so it can authenticate to read values.

Re: monitoring hardware with snmp (p4500)
When you install the CMC software make sure you do a complete install not typical it should install all the agents then.
