same IP address after system board replacement.
Hi,
Our cluster consists of two nodes with FOM, Version 8.1.00.0047.0, and is used in a production environment.
Yesterday an Technican has replaced the Systemboard from one Node. After reboot the Volumes have started resync. In the CMC both nodes are displayed with the same Hostname and IP (the old and the new one).
If I want to login at the new node, an error message appears:
'Login failed because the IP xx.xx.xx.xx is being used by 2 systems. The CMC cannot determine which system to connect to.'
When trying to remove the old node, CMC shows the error: 'Could not find the system with serial number xx(old MAC-Address)....'. The system was indeed removed and is no longer available.
How can I remove the old node?
Thanks!

Re: same IP address after system board replacement.
Can you try to repair the node to remove it from the cluster? Beyond that, call support and they should be able to backdoor fix it for you.

Re: same IP address after system board replacement.
The problem has done itself. After a few days the old Node is gone.
Thanks!
