i had a lefthand solution
can you give my a white paper about the difference between thin or full provisionning

and related question is it a preferred solution ?

Thin provisioning is good since you dont need to have spinning disks to support over provisioned volumes.

For example your customers may demand a 2 TB disk space whereas they would use only 200 GB out of it. With thin provisioning you can allocate 2 TB without actually having those many disks. If they customer really starts filling up the volume, then you will be alerted to help you add disk space.

You can thus save power and money.

your example is my case i didn't know how many Gbts i will have to store on my server in 3 years

Becareful with thin provsioning...you can get youbrself into trouble! If you create a bunch of volumes and do not keep good track your space you will run the potential of running out of space. Remember to factor in snapshot space as well since that will absorb space that can be unexpected.
