network mapping a 3com switch with Procurve manager

network mapping a 3com switch with Procurve manager

Procurve is able to discover the 3com but it is unable to communicate with it. this makes it disappear when we map the network. is there anyway establish a connection so that procurve can communicate with the 3com so we can get a full map of the network.

so far our network maps show everything except for the 3com's.

3com model number: 3C17205

Hi, this product is discontinued by HP.
