1000Gbps with half-duplex

Can HP procurve giga port support 1000Gbps/Half operation? Which document(IEEE) should I refer to?

Re: 1000Gbps with half-duplex

1000Gbps standard will be invented in 2010 or 2015 :)

Looks like half duplex can only be configured if the port is downgraded to 10/100. For the HP servers adapters, no 1000Mbps Half Duplex supported (http://www.hp.com/products1/serverconnectivity/adapters/ethernet/specifications/gigabit_ethernet_specs.html)

There is no standard for Half Duplex with GigE AFAIK.

AFAIK 1GBps Half-Duplex is only defined for fiber.
