10GE AND 1GE -- LACP

Dear all:

I got one problem about lacp. This is the case:

Our core switch is hp s7506e switch, and recently we got one huawei s5700 which uplink to our s7506e. We want to enable lacp between them. The lacp is a standard protocol,  so there is no problem even if they are different vendors. But there is one problem, my s5700 and s7507 all just leave one 10GE port. So I just wonder if  10GE and 1GE can form one lacp group? If I can not, what should I do to use these two ports(10GE and 1GE)?

Re: 10GE AND 1GE -- LACP

A LACP trunk can only consists of ports with the same speed, so 10G and 1G in the same group doesnt work. You either have to find two ports with the same speed or use spanning-tree instead.
