1800-24g cannot log in following a firmware update
... anybody had run into the same problem?
Have several 1800-24g switches here, running 24/7 for years with minimal problems. Took one to uograde to the latest firmware. Everything looked OK, switch rebooted itself as it should ... but cannot log in after reboot. Tried factory reset at least 20 times by now. No luck loging in with the defaukt IP. When I plug a 1gbit port to it, the switch flashes 1gbit on and off few times, then stays ON with 100mbit only. But there is no reponse to ping and web GUI.
It sure looks like I have bricked the switch by upgrading firmware. I thought that is not possible ... until now.
Thank you all for any words of wisdom, Albin.
