I recently bought 4 x 2510 and install in a LX-LC mini-GBIC(J4859C)in one of the 2510 so as to be able to connect to the 8000M switch via fiber. The 8000M switch has a 1000LX HP J4114A 1-port Gigabit LX module. I use a LC-SC fiber patch lead to connect them up
The link led of the 8000M is on with the mode led blinking. However on the 2510 end there is no indication of port status to be up and I cant communicate to and fro both switches
Need help
regards
