2510-24G (J9279A), fan replacement, threshold warning settings
Hello,
i use the switch in my home office. It is a little bit too loud so i would like to replace the two mounted Nidec Beta V, TA150DC, Model C35532-57 by quieter types, e.g. Papst 412. But maybe there is a problem with the fan sourveilance of the switch.
Where can i set the threshold values for an fan with less rpm?
The TA150 is out of production. What type of fan is currently used by HP?
Best regards
Peter

Re: 2510-24G (J9279A), fan replacement, threshold warning settings
I have to inform you that by opening the unit you void your warranty, fans in the J9279A are not customer replacable and as far as I know there are no settings to alter thresholds values for fans with different rpm.
The current fans in use by HP vary by product.
