Re: 2510G-24 Webinterface time an Log problems
Hello,
according to my experience, the alerts in the web interface are not ALL events you can see in the event log on the CLI.
I.e.:
- If you remove a link with only device attached: -> event log entry, but no alert
- if you remove a link with several devices attached -> event log + alert in web interface "lost connection to different devices"
Have a look in the help file:
http://www.hp.com/rnd/device_help/help/hpwnd/webhelp/ProCurveJ9279A/status/overview/Alert_Desc.htm
As far as I know this behaviour cannot be changed.
Cheers,
Michael

Re: 2510G-24 Webinterface time an Log problems
Hey,
i know that i can see much more in the cli envent log.
but i can see messages on one of the two siwtches. for example when i reboot one server thats connected to both switches i can only see Loss of Link on one switch in the webinterface.
there is no log on the second switch in the webinterface.
