2510G-48 High CPU and High Collision or drop rate on 100MBit/s Ports, SLOW
Hello,
i want to tune my backup and i think i have a problem with the 2510G-48 Backbone Switch. Switch has static trunks to Netgears (GS724T and GS748T) for the clients. The CPU utilization is 30% (no Production in the Moment, only Backup) and high collision or drop rate on 100MBit/s Ports (ILO Ports or MSA Management Ports) and on 2 POrts where nothing is connected. Maximum Speed over this Switch is around 300MBit/s (checked with NetCPS between many different Ports, 2003 and 2008R2 Server). All Ports are set to Auto. No further configuration.
Configuration as follows:

Re: 2510G-48 High CPU and High Collision or drop rate on 100MBit/s Ports, SLOW
If you are still running Y.11.12, I would upgrade to Y.11.35 before doing too much digging. It fixes some spurious "High Collision or drop rate" warnings, if nothing else.
