2610-48 PWR PCM 02.322 update 6
Our company recenlty bought 2 new 2610's
ProCurve J9089A Switch 2610-48-PWR
Software revision R.11.04
The device discovers perfecly in PCM but i'm unable to "scan" the device. I tried setting a new username/password, deleting and rediscovering, reset the 2610, update the firmware of the 2610 to 11.16 but nothing...
Rediscovering works fine, but when i test the communication parameters in PCM, I get an unrechable when testing the SNMP write community. This is quite odd, because when rediscovering the device it works perfectly.
Any suggestions ?

Re: 2610-48 PWR PCM 02.322 update 6
Default community names should be public/public on the switch, have you changed that? For the discovery process it doesn't validate the write community which is why that's passing for you.
Otherwise does your PCM server have more than 1 IP address by any chance? If so, it may have bound the tftp daemon to the wrong interface.

Yes, I have changed the default communities. I have changed the ready-only and read-write community. I have 2 5400's and several 2650's and 2810's wich work perfectly.
