2910al: error in log after update to W_14_49 when login on SSH
>show logg
...
W 08/12/10 09:38:11 00419 auth: Invalid user name/password on SSH session
I 08/12/10 09:38:15 00179 mgr: SME SSH from nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn - MANAGER Mode
Name and password is absolutely correct because I succesfully logged in but 2910al think different :). Same errors when I logged in as operator.
When I temporary downgraded firmware to older W_14_38.swi - this errors not appear in log.

I would recommend you to contact support and open a case. Have a show tech all of the switch ready :)

Yes, it was turned on by default:
swi# sho banner motd
Banner Information
Banner Status: Enabled
Disabling MOTD not help - same error in log:
swi# sho banner motd

Re: 2910al: error in log after update to W_14_49 when login on SSH
Yeah, there will be a fix coming for this.
A workaround might be to remove operator credentials. The issue only appear when both Manager and Operator is configured.
The issue should be purely cosmetic.
