3400cl and 10GbE X2-SC LR Optic modules

Hello,
got a few questions regarding the 3400cl :

- is anybody already using them ? are they ok for core routers (actually got 53XX) ? Do you notice any trouble on the 3400 ?

- is 10km the maximum distance between two 10GbE X2-SC LR Optic module ? I ask this because 10km is indicated in hp's website, but some sellers says that it's only one or two km. Dis you test those modules ?
