I also installed this image on a couple of 5406 after advice from HP support.

So whats going on with this release? Do I have to make a support request to get it? Why was it not released in March?

My guess is that they found out that it's not compatible with things like ProCurve Manager or sflow or something.. It wouldn't be the first time: http://forums13.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=1414131

However - they really should make a note regarding why it has been recalled.

Well lets just hope the it was pulled for more testing.

SHOCKED that hp did not even try PCM and users here had to report the error.

More random pulled firmware. I have 3 older 2610-PWR's all have been happy for some time on R11.48 today I had to jump and look at sflow. Well that didnt go so hot so I check current firmware on support site.

R11.48 has been replace with R11.30

Please HP what is going on? Do you have a Blog I can read about troubles with current firmwares? Why must I call you? Should I start bugging bloging friends to bring up the firmware troubles in a more public light?
