3com 2920 and blinking powerled

My switch dont work anymore. The power led is blinking. Connected through Hyperterminal it issarting up and says: Application program does not exist.

Tried to download the latest bin-file but it uploaded to the switch, but it didnot work

 

please help

Any solution to this? I know the post os quite old, but I am facing the exact same issue and can find any answer online.

I tried uploading a new rom using console and xmodem but despite the successful update the problem remains.
