4104gl recieve disgards

I'm getting tons of receive disgards on ports A4 & A5 on my Procurve 4104gl, and only those ports. They are both connected to printers. What could be causing this large amount of disgards?

Maybe your printers are set use Layer 2 protocols other than Ethernet (TokenRing)?
