4108 port speed sensing prob
Folks
I am baffled by the port sensing on a 4108 10/100 24 port module. I have been rolling out Mitel 3300 voip controllers to all our sites... for the smaller sites, they have a 2600, and usually a few 2524's (if necessary). In this case I always put the voice controller in one of the 10/100 ports on the 2600. Now with the larger sites, most use 4108's throughout the sites. I have been trying to plug the Mitel into one of the 10/100 ports and do not get a link light. I have tested in my test lab and confirmed that if I move the controller to a 2600, I get the link and it negotiates to 100full. When I plug the Mitel into a GB copper tranceiver in the 4108 it negotiates to 1000full. If I hard code the Mitel to 100/full, the gb port on the 4108 shows 100/full. However no matter what port setting I use on the 10/100 module in the 4108 and Mitel, I cannot get a link light.
Any thoughts for further testing???
Thanks
