4108GL Port Trunking and Procurve Manager

Two ports on a 4108GL are trunked using Cisco FEC and connected to one of our servers with two Intel Pro 100 server cards, also trunked with Cisco FEC.

The event log on Procurve Manager shows the following:

Segment 172.16.1.10_port_Trk1 not in traffic data base! Unable to configure segment.

What's the solution? Ineed to get traffic data for this link.

I would not use this method to improve the bandwidth to my server: too many people complained about this teaming problem.

If you have 2 or more VLANs/subnets that are crowded, put one NIC in one VLAN/subnet and the other NIC in another VLAN/subnet, to reduce traffic through the inter-VLAN router.
