4108g with latest firmware
I've a 4108g with the latest firmware. It switches fine, pings fine but the telnetd and httpd dies. Port scanning the switch shows that both ports are not responsive. Does anyone else seen such symptoms?
Rebooting it revives the 2 daemons and then they die again after a day or 2.

If a problem can be fixed, there's nothing to worry. If a problem can't be fixed, worrying ain't gonna help. Bottom line: don't worry.

Re: 4108g with latest firmware
The latest revision of the firmware for the 4108GL is G_07_50.
I disabled the webserver on all my 4108GL before deploying them, and I had no problem with the telnet server of the switch. In my opinion, CLI is everything you need for switch management.

Re: 4108g with latest firmware
I've got one issue with system crash during intensive load on 4108gl witch 07.50 fw, but not this problem with irresponsive telnetd and httpd. But I do as Dan and use only telnet/CLI for management.
