4108gl Issues
We have a 4108gl running g.05.04 code. Wh anve had several issues that we are trying to run down; however, we notice that the clock is stuck on 6-feb-2126 adn the time cycles between 1:28:00 to 1:30:00. This is perplexing since we have set the switch up to connect to out internat time source. If you set the time manually, it hold for about 10 seconds then switches back. Any ideas?

Re: 4108gl Issues
Hi.
On the cause... no ideas... but I'd say if the switch cannot hold time even if time server is disabled, it sounds like a problem with the firmware.
You could try to re-flash the latest firmware, then reset to factory defaults. FD Reset procedure:
1. Press Reset and Clear simultaneously
2. Release Reset
3. When Self Test is blinking, release Clear.
If this doesn't help, I'd say contact HP Support.

Re: 4108gl Issues
On 16th December 2002, just when Arimo posted his reply, HP released version G.07.21 for 4108GL. Download it from http://www.hp.com/rnd/software/switches.htm and install it to your machine.
