4200vl ssh
A problem with SSH on a 4200vl Switch.
Once i have entered with the right combination of user name and password under SSH, there is a reboot of the switch.

You can reset switch and do a diagnosis by the startup leds:

Yes, Telent or Serial Access are OK.
I do not believe in a hardware defect.
This effect (crash of the switch) occurs at 2 4200vl switches. Both have the same version L.11.24

If you havent ssh messages in log, you can activate with:
DCS-8206-02# debug ssh LOGLEVEL
and access via SSH (when you can by reboot)

I've read the config guide again carefully.
By the 5400zl switches it reaches the commands "aaa authentication ssh login local" and "aaa authentication ssh enable local" to a tap. When you get this to switch 4200vl an error message occured.
You have to enter the secondary explizizt login.
So "aaa authentication ssh login local none" and "aaa authentication ssh enable local none".
I hope this was the error. A trial is pending, to many users.
