5304XL management interface freeze
I was managing Procurve switch 5304XL through web interface and while in VLAN config menu I clicked 'modify' button, management interface froze. I was using microsoft internet explorer v6.0. Since then I never could connect to the web interface again. Then I connected through ssh to see what's happening and event log didn't show anything, but CPU util was 93%. I tried to disable and enable web management again and then SSH session froze too. I tried last resort direct cable connection to the switch console port, it allowed me to login but didn't show me any screen and froze too. The only way to recover was 'reset' pin on the switch.

This problem was confirmed as a bug by HP EMEA support.
The problem seems to occur when the last port(s) of the last module is part of a trunk/mesh and when a VLAN modification (in the webGUI) is made.
