How do I find out what version the chassis is? Is it an V1 or V2 ? Do you have a list ref. to Product number?

SolutionI think what you mean is the version of the modules. The chassis is typically the same for all of them, the modules have a v1 and v2 generation.
v2 modules have different part codes, so if you run
show module
You can see the part numbers, and verify this in the HP online configurator (select 5400, then use module dropdown list)

Or just google these Jxxxx numbers and read the product title (check if v2 is included)

You are correct Peter.
The 5400zl chassis comes in only one version, the zl (v1).
The modules comes in different versions, such as zl (v1) and the v2 zl.
I have heard rumers about an new cassis version comming soon to handle more capacity.
