5400zl reboots

Anyone here encounter that the 5406zl switch is rebboting after some time? version is K.12.23. I encounter 2 units of 5400zl that reboots after an hour or a month...it happens twice. theres no problem on the power coz only that switch is rebooting. Configuration of that switch is VRRP and no problem with that configuration. HOw can i check if there's a problem on the hardware?

The SW version is now at K.13.23 and there have been alot of fixes for crashes, I don't know if you made a typo or are running on the 12 version?

i upgraded the SW version to K.13.44 but the switch still reboots, attached is the showtech file for your reference. Do you have any idea what causes that error message (please see showtech file) and also the reboot?

This should have been fixed already with K.13.44:

o Crash (PR_0000009736)

A software exception is sanity check, the code developers usually includes a sanity check that, if the check fails, writes a software exception message to the event log and boot history, and reboots.

I would suggest you contact your local Procurve Support for an elevation, there has been a K.13.45 but it doesnt address your issue

I found K1344 update but not find procurve.com and ftp.hp site
I know last update K1325
please return K1325 update and reboot switch after you can write [config)# stack auto-join] command
and retest

can you use auto copy data from to switch usb flash drive ?
