660048g cdnfig issue and web issue

Hi,
We have an existing 660048g and we have purcahed another to add as a backup.

I have copied the config from the existing switch and restored it to the new switch. when i try to change the management ip address and save it, it always defaults back to the old one!

Also, when the config is loaded the web page does not work even though it is enabled within the switch.

any help much apprecited, i am new to switches!!

Hi

How are you changing the IP address?

Did you try the cli command
Switch(config)#vlan X ip address x.x.x.x\24
Switch(config)#write memory

what firmware are you running. Would recommend to run the latest available.
