802.1X using FreeRADIUS
I'm looking to create an "end-to-end how-to" document for implementing 802.1X on ProCurve switches using FreeRADIUS as the authentication server platform.
I know how to do this using W2K3/8 and have these running in the lab currently.
If anyone would be able to share their FreeRADIUS config file(s) I would be very appreciative!
In addition, I hope someone has not only done standard 802.1X auth, but also dynamic VLAN assignment after user authentication, those configs would be even more helpful.
I'm hoping to implement FreeRADIUS on Ubuntu linux, but i suspect that the basic FreeRADIUS config files would be mostly the same regardless of which linux platform it was running on.
Thank you in advance.
Kind Regards...Jeff

Re: 802.1X using FreeRADIUS
Jeff:
Not sure if you have come across this whitepaper already, but thought will share it anyway:
"Configuring FreeRadius using IDM"
http://www.procurve.com/NR/rdonlyres/06538B80-6DB0-4AC6-893E-8E8E12A180C6/0/ConfiguringFreeRADIUSwithIDMbyExample_Dec_07_WW_Eng_Ltr.pdf
Hope it helps in some way!
Javed
