9315m and ProCurve Manager Plus
Hi all,
I've been trying to scan the config of a 9315m into ProCurve Manager but it keeps failing with a timeout.
I have tested the communication paramters and everything tests OK.
All other switches (2500, 2600, 2800, 4100, and 5300s) scan with no issues.
Any suggestions?
Cheers,
Joel

Re: 9315m and ProCurve Manager Plus
Hi
Usually in the 9300 switches, the Set or Read Write community settings should be ok on and configured correctly in PCM.
Good Luck !!!

Re: 9315m and ProCurve Manager Plus
Yes I've checked they are working correctly - I can even add more SNMP communities to the 9300 and define them as management communities too.
The only thing I can think of is something is blocking the TFTP transfer from the switch?

Re: 9315m and ProCurve Manager Plus
Hi Joel,
Have you configured the super-user password setting?
The 9300 series had problems with PCM+ as far as i can remember if you had the global super-user-password set you also need a write community set with the same value.
Or alternatively, delete the global super-user password setting.
I am not sure if they have updated this yet, i haven;t worked with 9300's for a while now.
Cheers
Jonathan
