AF600A Console Switch Management

The AF600A has a TFT7600 keyboard and monitor attached to one local port, and a Black Box CAT5 KVM extender to the second local port - to give 'remote' access to the switch. The mouse on the KVM extnder works only intermittently since installation and has now stopped.

What could be done to improve the mouse operation?

Is it possible to use the Console Switch Management with the AF600A?

Mouse on remote KVM extnder working since connected the local KVM PS/2 mouse to AF600A USB port using convertor.

Initially also connected the keyboard to USB convertor but poor response - keyboard connected to local keyboard port.
