About the new update for 2910,,.?

Hi

I found the new update for switch 2910al

but when I want update the switch from PCM+ 3.20 to the new version K_15_07_0008 I can't find it in the PCM it show the last version 14.70 why can't find the new version ???

Do you need an upgrade to the latest PCM+3 update file, or maybe upgrade to PCM+ 4? Check the readme with the 2910 firmware - it may provide some extra info about PCM.

Hi, you have to update software version list in PCM. Go to preferences/configuration management, there is a download button for this list.

Hi,

the newest software for the 2910al ist W.15.08.0012.

K.15.08.0007 is for 3500, 5400 or 8200 series switche.

OK, check if this firmware is present in the software list (try to find it in txt file), or I remeber that sometimes in the past there was syntax error in the list (missing character, etc.).

PCM is rather conservative as what it calls the latest version; I guess there is some additional QA process to get into that list beyond the release to web.

As it happens, W 14.70 is the latest revision to the firmware release file.
