Access Point 530 WDS
Forgive the slightly off topic post but I have gotten no replies in the wireless forum so I'd thought I might try here.
I have configured two AP 530s with WDS to act as a bridge between our two offices. The WDS is working fine but I'd like to see the signal strength and connection speed between the two points so I can tell if the external antennas need any alignment tuning. Is there anyway to see how strong the signel connecting the APs are with each other? It only tells me which WDS link is up and the MAC addresses.
All I can see is that the ping is low and I'm not losing any packets but obviously that's not a great test.
