Baseline Switch 2250-SFP Plus 3CBLSF50H console access

Hi everyone,

 

I've just "inherited" this lovely Baseline Switch 2250-SFP Plus unit and to my surprise (not) nobody seems to remember the admin password.

 

My 1st stop was going trough the manual (http://bizsupport2.austin.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c02583002/c02583002.pdf ) which of course pointed me into the "console port" direction.

 

So far so good. The problem is, nobody seems to have the cable either.

 

Tried some web searching but couldn't find any specific info/posts regarding this particular model/family and it's pinout, so was wondering if a regular Cisco console cable would do the job or if anything, more "special", is needed.

 

Any ideas?
