Basic Network Question.

I have this question to ask..
1. What High Availability means at network levels, all from architecture point of view??

Please explain this point.

Hi

HA means that you can have one fail in your environment and the service is up.
it means, you must have duplicity of services/devices to have HA.

Thanks for the reply. Being an HP-UX SA i understand HA generally but wanted to actually find out what that means at the network level..not just lan cards..but higher..more architectual point of view.
