Brocade upgrading fun: ran out of disk space
So I am trying to upgrade a 3900 which is running 4.1.1a to something a bit more modern. First, I thought on being humble and going to, say, v4.2.0c. When I try running firmwaredownload, I get a few out of disk space errors:
fabos-fss unpacking of archive failed on file /etc/fabos/lo/SWBD31.conf: cpio: symlink failed - No space left on device
Package fabos-fss-4.4.2b-9.ppc.rpm loading fails
Firmwaredownload failed. (0x15) Firmwaredownload failed due to out of disk space or timeout.
Firmwarecommit has started to restore the secondary partition.
Error: (Firmwaredownload failed due to out of disk space or timeout.)
SAN20:admin> Removing obsolete packages ...
[...]
How to find out how much disk space it has and why it is so full (and how to do something about that)? I have been looking through the command line manual and have not been particularly lucky in finding an answer...
