CDP is now set to read only mode on all HP switches!
why can i still see all my connected hp devices using sh cdp?

By default the switche have CDP enabled on each port.
This is a read-only capability, meaning that the switch can receive and store information about adjacent CDP devices but does not generate CDP packets.

we have 2500, 2600 & 5300 series installed.
I can still see all of them using CDP.
That should'nt be possible if they didnt send CDP info, right?
So my question is -how can i see all my switches using "sh cdp" if hp's does'nt send cdp's?
