Call Quality (QoS)

Afternoon All,
Seem to be having problems with call quality.

Unsure if its QoS on the local LAN or a problem with the ISDN 30.

Can someone just have a quick overlook on this config and point out if ive missed anything.
Thx

I have i missed anything?

Wouldnt expect QoS issues on a LAN with only 13 users, 13 phones and very little LAN traffic.

Thx,
Karl.

Re: Call Quality (QoS)

hi Karl
yess vlan 2 voip vlan and priority 7 ver good

working L2 priority only tag port

end device send frame to destination and attach this freme 4bit tag info vlan id and tag priority there fore switch only see this information tag port

1-all switch on you make vlan 2 voip vlan and priority 7 and all uplink port tag all vlan avare.
2-all ip phone you setting vlan id 2 and priority 7

Re: Call Quality (QoS)

Hi

Configuration wise, looks fine.

I've noticed you are enabling Routing on this switch, can you explain more about the topology you have !!!

Also; whats your VoIP System ?

Good Luck !!!

Re: Call Quality (QoS)

Afternoon All,

Applications on the Data VLAN need to spk to the VoIP VLAN (Call loggers etc)..

The phone system is an Intertel, and i believe only uses 802.1p..

THx,
Karl.
