Can I "mute" PCM 2.2 discovery polling events?

Hello.
Just upgraded from PCM+ 2.1 to 2.2 without any trouble, and I like what I got.
However, the discovery process reports an event every time it starts and stops, which clogs the event list. Is there a way to disable or mute the discovery reporting?
I've browsed and clicked around, but haven't found anything obvious. A filter perhaps?

Matt Hobbs and other experts recommended a clean install of PCM+ 2.2, instead of an upgrade, for behaviours similar to what you describe. You might give it a try, if the license allows you this.

Hmm ... I'm not very keen on reinstalling the whole thing because i might get lucky. Anyone with a little harder evidence or advice?

Looks like I found the answer myself:
In the Preferences>Policy Management pane, I checked the "Suppress event log messages ..." option under Policy logging.
That disabled most of the clutter.

Re: Can I "mute" PCM 2.2 discovery polling events?

A new feature in PCM2.2 is the virus throttling. None of my switches support that (yet), and PCM list a message for each switch. More clutter. Is there a way to let PCM know that I don't need those messages every day?

If you go to Tools->Preferences->Events->Ignored Events

and search you will find a category:

'VT Secondary Discovery or VT Policy, Info. Events'.

You can right-click on this entry and choose 'Ignore', then click the 'Apply' button.
