Can ProCurve 4000M make mesh w Cisco 2950?
Can a 4000m and Cisco 2950 switch be configured to form a mesh over 2 ports? If not, then how about a trunk?

A trunk is possible. mesh is procurve proprietary so would not be configurable on cisco box

Re: Can ProCurve 4000M make mesh w Cisco 2950?
Michael,
I support Jeff Brownell's answer fully, meshing is HP propriatary.
My question would be are you talking HP-Trunking are do you mean Cisco Trunking? (Just to confuse you more)
Both are possible btw.
Check out the faq's on:
http://www.hp.com/rnd/support/faqs/8000_4000_2424.htm
Then scroll down to:
Trunking (HP & Fast EtherChannel (FEC)
There you will probably find your answers.

SCOOTER
