I thought that I had PCM 2.10 update 6 installed, but when I was going to check for new updates I get that update 6 is available.
I tried to update both from hp's ftp and download the update manually from procurve's homepage and put the update 6 file in the autoupdate folder. None of them works.
What can be the problem?
I hade update 5 installed but that one was bogus. So I did a update and installed update 4. But now I can't upgrade to update 6.
I attach a part of the s-AutomaticUpdate.log
The log is from when I'm trying to upgrade from the download folder.
Solved! Go to Solution.

Re: Can't upgrade PCM to update 6.
Isaw in the Log file that the Update has been downloaded :
aug 11, 14:56:07:753 adding.../data/download/autoupdate/pcm_2_1_update_6.zip
The the PCM started to exctract it in the update process, and a JAVA error happened after that.
I think if you can just Restart the PCM server and try to do it again.
Good Luck !!!

Re: Can't upgrade PCM to update 6.
i have noticed in the log that the Java error has something related to the Language !!!
Better you check your Java Runtime Environment installation.
Don't forget to assign points.
Good Luck !!!

Re: Can't upgrade PCM to update 6.
I checked the autoApp_out.log and found out that there is a problem with stopping the HP ProCurve Traffic Launch Service.
I know about this problem and I will look more into that.
I attach the log.

Re: Can't upgrade PCM to update 6.
I stopped the HP ProCurve Traffic Launch Service and then updated to update 6.
It workt! And the problem with getting traffic information from the switches is solved with update 6.
