Cannot Set pass on 3500yl-24G.. k.12.07

All,

I have a 3500yl-24G running 12.07.

I had this working this morning however it is not now and I do not know what I did to cause the passwords not to work.

I entered "include-credentials" and set the
password for the manager and operator level.

I exited the switch and logged back in..

No Work.. Is there a command I'm missing.?

I used "erase start" and rebooted many times
including using the "paper clip" with "reset/clear" options...

Any Ideas?

The clear button should do the trick, did you hold it in for 10 seconds?

Where did you get the 12.07 software from? HP's website only lists 12.05 being current.

I recieved this from our engineer with HP. Due to a couple of bugs we have open. I cannot commit further on this..

Hello Joe,

I would check with your HP rep or call HP Technical Support at 1-866-MY-PROCURVE as this issue may be resolved in later code than K.12.07 that has not been released yet.

K.12.14 has just hit the web, it looks to have a few password fixes in it:

Well..

I see they fixed a couple of our issues..

I'll test it out and let you all know..

we are testing 12.16 at the moment..
