Cisco Core and Procurve edge (hsrp and ospf)
I have two core cisco routers that are in an ospf area and are also setup for hsrp and ospf.
Now I am investigating procurve 3500yl at our edge sites. For the most part everything seems to work fine. However when I enable ospf on the edge(3500yl)and do a show ip route ospf I see duplicate subnets pointing to vlan ip's that are on the cisco core switches.
show ip route ospf (3500yl)
192.168.224.0/24 172.30.1.3 732 ospf External2 20 110
192.168.224.0/24 172.30.1.4 732 ospf External2 20 110
192.168.226.0/24 172.30.1.3 732 ospf External2 20 110
192.168.226.0/24 172.30.1.4 732 ospf External2 20
note
172.30.1.3 is on core 2
172.30.1.4 is on core 1
has anyone come across this or have any ideas.
Thanks!

Re: Cisco Core and Procurve edge (hsrp and ospf)
Hello,
two cores, and two ways to one subnet. One over core 1, and the other way over core 2. What did you expect?
Best regards,
Patrick

Re: Cisco Core and Procurve edge (hsrp and ospf)
The main problem was I did not have the stub set correctly on the core. It was passing the lsa. Once I set it to no-summary all showed correctly.
