Creating VLANS
I sm new to VLANS in HP switches. We have 3 9304 switches and about 10 hp4000. I would liek to create VLANS. Where would I define the VLANS? in the main 9304?
YOur help would be greatly appreciated.

You will have to declare the VLANs in all switches if you are not running GVRP, wich I think HP recomend not to do.
If you run GVRP you declare all VLANs on a server-instance and then it is replicated to all clients.
I have not configured this on any of our HP-switches so I cant tell you how it works or how it is done.
Have a look in the manuals and you can read about it.
