DHCP-snooping trust on a trunk port and copy startup-config

Hi,

I am using the DCHP-snooping feature on ProCurve 28xx, 26xx and 53xx series. This feature works well and all, but there is small bug which I find a bit annoying.

When configuring a trunk as a trusted port this only possible through:

>> dhcp-snooping trust Trk1

The switch then converts it to:

>> interface Trk1
>> dhcp-snooping trust
>> exit

But entering the above code into the CLI will not work because the switch says the 'dhcp-snooping' feature is not available for Trk1 (this IS available when trying other (non-trunk) ethernet ports).

This is not such a big issue when you are only configuring through CLI. But this issue does mean you cannot copy startup-configs via TFTP when there is a dhcp-snooping trust statement in there on a trunk-port.

This switch will say:

>> line: 136. Port Trk1 is invalid.

This happens for

>> dhcp-snooping trust Trk1

and for

>> interface Trk1
>> dhcp-snooping trust
>> exit

Is there a way around this?

Sounds like this is simply a bug you should report.
