Deskjet 6122

I have just reinstalled the printer using the original CD and was surprised to see that the installation was suapended half-way through asking for the following file:

c:\windows\temp\îs8163\1046.MST

Why should a windows temp file be needed for a fresh installation.

However, the printer "seems" to be working, despite the "failed" installation.

Can somebody help?

The file should read

C:\windows\Temp\~is8163\1046.mst

if it gets garbles again the first characters after the slash are tilde and small "i"
